Jira DC to AGC Migration: Script runner plugin

Hi

I am using the ScriptRunner plugin in my Jira Data Center environment, but it is not available in Atlassian Government Cloud (AGC). How can we manage the ScriptRunner functionality—such as Field Behaviours, workflow post functions or conditions, incoming email handlers, script listeners, etc.—in AGC?

Incoming email handling can be replaced with Jira Service Management (JSM), since it can read emails and create Jira tickets.

Script Listeners can be achieved using Automation Rules.

How can we manage Field Behaviours in AGC? Is there any plugin available to achieve similar functionality?

Dynamic Forms for Jira by Deviniti.

It's currently listed in the Atlassian Government Cloud Marketplace collection.

It supports conditional field visibility, required and read-only fields, setting values, and hiding select-field options. This may cover some of your existing Behaviours, but I'd recommend confirming the exact AGC functionality with Deviniti before treating it as a replacement.

Also Native Forms, workflows and automation could work.

I did check with Adaptivist and they are saying it may available next year mid 2027. We can't relay on release dates as those may change and it will impact our timelines so trying to see how others are managing fields behaviour without script runner plugin. Thank you for your time and information.

Marketplace Apps have to be certified/qualified to be allowed to run in the Government Cloud.

This question will need to be submitted to Adaptivst (I think its them) who maintain scriptrunner to see where they are at.

If its not listed in the link above - its not qualified basically.

Your going to find a lot of things are just simply not there in Gov. Cloud due to the stringent requirements of Government systems.

Hard to suggest alternatives for Scriptrunner - arguably its "king" in my eyes.😶
