Is there a Atlassian plugin to capture the usage of ROVO or other AI tool within JIRA
For Jira Cloud, Atlassian provides built-in Rovo reporting, so you may not need a Marketplace app:
See Atlassian’s documentation: Gain insights into Rovo AI activity.
I don't see a ROVO Trend option
Where is Insights?
Hi @Glenn_Riley1
Currently, there is no dedicated Atlassian Marketplace plugin available to capture, monitor, or report on Rovo or built-in Atlassian Intelligence usage within Jira.
Because Rovo is a native Atlassian Cloud platform capability rather than a standard Jira add-on, usage tracking is handled differently from traditional marketplace apps:
Hope this helps 🙂
Thanks, Anwesha
We're having some difficulties reporting on Rovo as well, some interim solutions that help in regards to work items is having Rovo or AI tool created work items created with a specific label so we can track them, paired with the agent metrics that shows deflection we're able to get some basic numbers for Rovo.
Hi @Glenn_Riley1,
Both reports are in Atlassian Administration, but the menu names in the earlier reply look like older labels. Insights is the new name for Atlassian Analytics, not the place these reports live.
For adoption, open Atlassian Administration, select AI and Rovo, then Trends. The doc lists it for the Organization admin role only, on Standard, Premium or Enterprise, so as a site admin you most likely won't see it. That's probably why the option is missing for you. The charts only refresh every 48-72 hours and only show data once Rovo is enabled for that app, so a fresh setup can look empty for a while.https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/gain-insights-into-rovo-ai-activity/
For credit consumption, go to Usage, then Meters, and pick Rovo credits. It's org admin only too. The two numbers won't match exactly, because Trends can include AI features that don't count toward Rovo credits.https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/what-is-platform-usage/
Are you an org admin there, or a site admin? I'd check that first.
