Hi All,
I am a solo Dev, working on creating enterprise grade tool for developers, wanted to see my luck with Jira plugins and created few you can check at
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/vendors/233291831/vectored
without a marketing team I don't think I am selling any so making them all free. However, I still have to keep paying atlassian to keep the plugin free which I do not want to do. I’ve invested a lot of time and effort into developing this plugin. Making it free isn’t really an option, as I’d still have to pay Atlassian for the app. At the same time, simply abandoning it feels like a waste of all that work.
So, I’m considering open-sourcing this plugin and a few others so that anyone can deploy, host, and use them on their own.
There are still a few broken issues I need to fix before making it open source, which means investing more time into the project.
Before I do that, I’d love to hear from the community:
Would you be interested in using, contributing to, or sponsoring an open-source version of this plugin?
If there’s enough interest in this post or I receive some sponsorship support, I’ll put in the time to fix the remaining issues and open-source the plugin.
You can check out the current development version here: belowto see where it stands today before sharing your thoughts.
Let me know what you think! If there’s enough interest, l'll make this available for everyone to use. 🚀
