Still buzzing from an incredible at our bi-annual customer conference - Team ’26 Europe in Amsterdam. A huge thank you to our customers, partners and ecosystem. I love seeing you all in person! Our keynote tackled three AI questions we hear from customers:
1️⃣ Which model should we bet on?
Response: The frontier keeps changing. Bet on your CONTEXT.
2️⃣ Will agents replace people?
Response: Agents join teams, not replace them. Build human–AI COLLABORATION
3️⃣ How do we keep up?
Response: No silver bullet. A nervous system for your organisation gives you CONFIDENCE.
Here’s what we announced in the main keynote to help with Context, Collaboration and Confidence:
📚 Context
Rovo Desktop and Mobile: All-new native apps that bring your context into any app, one shortcut away.
Teamwork Graph: 20+ new connectors (including Zoom and Gong), and a new data context including Snowflake, Databricks & Tableau. Extending the Atlassian platform with Forge? use the Teamwork Graph API in your apps & agents.
Source code context (GA): Semantic understanding of your code across GitHub and Bitbucket, plus a new Code Search app.
Rovo Work: A new reasoning mode in Rovo Chat with its own cloud computer, built for long, multi-step tasks like prototypes and deep research.
Artifacts app: Find, share, secure and embed everything you make with any AI tool. Artifacts are added to your Teamwork Graph so you can build on that knowledge.
🤝 Collaboration
AMP: The patterns, technology and experiences that shape how people and agents collaborate, on and off Atlassian.
MCP server: Rebuilt with 220 tools. Extensible, governed by Atlassian Guard, and uses up to 25% fewer tokens.
Loom Desktop for Mac: Collaborate with an agent like a teammate. Talk, point and select on screen, and Loom turns it into a detailed prompt. Plus AI overlays to polish your videos.
Planner: People and agents co-author plans in real time, then turn them into a Jira backlog.
🗺️ Confidence
Loom PR reviews: AI is writing code faster than humans can review it. Now every PR becomes a short video showing what changed, why, and how it was tested.
Agent sessions in Jira: See and unblock every agent, local or cloud, right from your board.
DX agent effectiveness: Understand if your agents are using the right model for the job.
Service Collection: Rovo finds likely root causes for incidents and flags risky changes before you deploy.
Strategy Collection: Track AI spend against budget, by model, team and department.
Enterprise trust: Identities for agents, data protection with Guard, and EU AI inference so your prompts stay in Europe.
I’ll share deep dives into these topics over the coming weeks.
