Confluence: Who archived a page?

Question

Where can I see who archived a wiki page in confluence cloud?

When viewing an archived page, I see a black banner that shows the reason why the page was archived - but not by whom.

—In 2022 it seemed to be possible to view that information by clicking on … → "advanced details", but that only lists "storage format" and nothing else in 2026-10.The "archive a space" documentation does not talk about this.

The banner won't tell you, the archive doc only says the archiver can leave a note. The audit log is where it is.

Settings (the gear, top right) > Monitoring > Audit log, "Archived or restored" is listed as a Content event there, and every audit record carries the user who did it. Needs Confluence admin, and it isn't on the Free plan. Events stay a year by default unless an admin shortened it.

Not an admin? Then it's one to ask yours. If you created the page, you'd also have had an email when someone else archived it. (Same records over REST at GET /wiki/rest/api/audit, same admin permission.)
