Timeline organization has been cleared

Hello, since this week I lost all my organization of the epics in the Jira timeline and all epics are ordered in (I guess) alphabetically. Old the drag and drop feature to order your timeline is changed, so I would think this is related to each other.

Is there some way we can revert back to the setup we had before, as this will cost much time to re-organize. Thank you.

What you're describing coincides with Atlassian's rollout of the new unified Jira Software Timeline. Atlassian rebuilt the Timeline experience and has acknowledged that some workflows from the previous Timeline were disrupted during the transition.

On your timeline check the option Start hierarchy from and it's value.By default when If the Epics were done and if there was a toggled option Hide epics when they are done, this is also why they are gone.

Check your filter of your board as well.

yes, that helps and I was already using that to get some order back into place. However, what I am asking is, if I can get my original organization back, that I had in place before this week (but got wiped by this change).
