Board Admin can only see General settings of the board

Hi all!

I am having some trouble because Board admins can only see the General settings of their boards.
This is what I (site admin) see:

Where I can see all the different tabs of the settings.

And this is what they (The Board Administrator) see:

They cannot access the settings to change columns for example.

Anyone knows why this could be and has a solution? Thanks in advance

Thats a very odd one, does it change if the user tries a different browser? Or logs out then back in?
And do you see any difference if the user opens up their sidebar when they load the board? It might be worth removing them fro the board as admin and add yourself in. Then add them back in again and see if it refreshes.

That doesnt seem right.. Is it only with this user and this board?

May the user has some duplicate account and not using the one selected as the 'Administrators' in this particular board?

Do they have the right product license?

@Asier Vadillo , the screenshots have not rendered for me, so two checks in order of likelihood, because "General only" is almost always the second gate rather than the first.

1. Board admin is only half the permission; the board's filter is the other half. A board is a view over a saved filter, and Jira will only let someone configure what they can see. If the board administrator is not included in the filter's shares (or lacks Browse Projects on a project the filter queries), the configuration pages that depend on the filter (Columns, Swimlanes, Quick Filters, Card layout, Estimation) are withheld and only General shows. This is the long-standing behaviour tracked in JRACLOUD-94959. Fix: open the board's filter (Board settings → General → Filter → Edit filter query, or Filters → View all filters as the owner), and share it with the board admins (a group, the project, or the individuals), with Edit rights if they also need to change the JQL. The missing tabs appear on the next load; no re-adding of board admins needed.

2. If the filter is already shared, check the project type. In a team-managed project the board has only the limited configuration (General plus a few items) regardless of who you are; the full tab set exists only on company-managed boards. If this board was created inside, or scoped to, a team-managed project, that is the ceiling rather than a permission problem.

If both check out and the tabs are still missing, say which project type and whether the board lives in a project or under a user's profile (Board location on the General tab), and I will narrow it further.

First of all the Admin already has edit permissions in the filter, and the project type is "Company managed software"

@Asier Vadillo , thank you for coming back with the filter and project-type details; that ruled out the permission path cleanly, and @Stephen.Lugton and @Calvin had the right read: the settings sidebar was collapsed, not missing. Good catch, and a useful one for the next person who searches this title, because the symptom looks identical to the permission case.
