Changing Accounts back to my original Confluence URL

Question

I'm trying to get back to my original account but I cannot find a way to do this. I inadvertently created a new account and now my login's default to this new account, which is not needed. email: mark@globalmaritimewerx.com

Hi @Mark Mendenhall,

First, try going to start.atlassian.com. That page shows every site your Atlassian account can access, which is more reliable than the app switcher since it sometimes misses some sites. If you see the old site there, just open it from the list and bookmark it.

Also, check which account you are signed in with when you get to the new site. Sometimes, the second site was set up with a different email, so you might have two separate Atlassian accounts. You can see this by clicking your avatar and choosing Manage account, which will take you to id.atlassian.com.

On top of what Staffan said, @Mark Mendenhall have you maybe tried using app switcher to see if your other site/org is displayed there? 👀

If you're using the same account as before, and if you've been Org admin there, you could potentially check

https://admin.atlassian.com/

to see what's displayed there.

One more thing: if your previous site was on the free plan and wasn't used for a while, potentially we're talking about Atlassian's data retention policy and data deactivation/deletion. Hi @Mark Mendenhall and welcome!

I assume that this is private account and not a corporate managed?

Have you tried to click on your avatar in the upper right corner and choose "logout". When you go to your orirginal site you should reach the Atlassian login window and provide your account information.

Otherwise try loggin in to your original site using 'Incognito-mode in your browser
