Want to configure ephemeral storage on pipeline kubernetes runner

Hello,

 

we have set up a kubernetes runner autoscaler for bitbucket pipelines. Currently it's not possible to configure ephemeral-storage on that runners. 

Can we get this possibility please?

I have already implemented it in the repository, but don't have the rights to push something to the repo and open a pull request.

Hi Marcus – Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

At the moment, the Kubernetes Runner Autoscaler documentation only exposes CPU and memory resource configuration in the runner job template; ephemeral-storage is not documented as a supported configuration option.

Since the autoscaler repository is public and Atlassian explicitly mentions that it can be forked and adapted for custom requirements, your implementation approach makes sense.

If you don't have write access, you may still be able to contribute through a fork and submit a pull request, depending on the repository's forking settings. Bitbucket supports this workflow for users without direct write access.

If that isn't available for this repository, I would keep this Community post as the feature request and, if possible, share the relevant change/diff you already implemented. That would give the Bitbucket team a concrete example to evaluate.
