I want to create a branch from an old commit so I can clone it locally on my PC and test that version.

I don't think Bitbucket Cloud offers a "create a new branch from a previous commit" feature on its web UI.

But, you can perfectly do this locally and the result will be the same:

1. Clone the repo
2. Locally create a new branch from the commit:
   

   git branch your_new_branch_name <commit-hash>

3. Push the branch to the remote

Now you have the branch visible in Bitbucket!
