Charged During the Trial Period

Hi,

 

I signed up on July 21st to test out the loom platform.  Immediately after using the site for a couple of videos, I decided to cancel my subscription (SAME DAY).  Upon deactivation, I was charged a prorated amount.  The trial period ended August 4th.  I need to understand why I was charged during a trial period and how can I get a refund?  This shouldn't have occurred.  Please advise
