Access from Bamboo server ver 9.3.4 with API Token

Question

Hi,

I switched to using API tokens, and everything is good.

But now, I also want to allow Bamboo to access with an API Token. I use the token as the password (as I do on my desktop), but it fails to access the repository with the error "Invalid username," which is my username.

I created a token with read permissions, but I also gave it the token I use for development,

What am I missing?

Thanks, @Mirek. Since I have the Bamboo Server, I cannot upgrade. I tried switching to "Git" repositories when I did "Test connection"; it showed me that the connection is okay, but the build itself failed during repository fetching.

I am using Submodules - is it related to it?

What about working with SSH authentication? Will that solve the problem?

The key detail is which Git host you're connecting Bamboo to...
If you're talking about Bitbucket Cloud and you're using Bamboo 9.3.4, then this is a known limitation
