Is ssh access via git / sourcetree affected by the deprecation of API passwords?

Hi @lorenzo_chierego
Welcome to the community!
Your question may be related to this discussion: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Bitbucket-questions/SSH-key-changed-for-bitbucket-org/qaq-p/3243372
In that thread, it is written that Atlassian confirmed that Bitbucket temporarily served an old SSH host key due to a configuration issue on June 2, 2026. If you're experiencing SSH-related warnings or connection issues, I'd recommend reviewing the response there to see if it matches your situation.
SSH authentication is separate from API password authentication, so the impact depends on which authentication method SourceTree is configured to use. I'd check whether the repository remote uses an SSH URL and verify that the correct SSH key is loaded and registered with Bitbucket. If the remote uses HTTPS instead, the required credentials may be different.
