Can we use Zephyr Essential in Jira Cloud

The Marketplace listing says it is compatible with Jira Cloud:

You have to purchase a separate license for the app for use with your Jira Cloud instance.

@Trudy P Claspill At chat GPT, the customer should buy Zephyr-squad cloud ver. The compatible means there are two type data center and cloud. Could you please confirm if we use JIRA cloud, we don't need to buy zephyr squad and it is enough to use zephyr essential jira data version?
Now we use JIRA data center and zephyr essential. If we change to JIRA cloud, do we have to buy zephyr cloud version? Or we do not have to buy zephyr cloud version and use zephyr essential which is used now?
