Looking for Jira Essentials course prep materials and exam page

Alec Chalmers

I’m planning to study for the Jira Essentials certification and would like to make sure I’m using the correct preparation resources. Could someone point me toward the official prep materials for the Jira Essentials exam, and also let me know where the exam details or scheduling page can be found?

I know this is a silly question really, but I've gone around in circles on the site, and I don't want to end up studying the wrong material.

Done, sorry I missed that.

If you’re looking for the official preparation resources, Atlassian actually provides a dedicated prep collection. It includes on-demand courses and study materials aligned with the exam objectives.

For the exam details and scheduling, you can log in to the Atlassian Certification Portal, where you can book the exam online or choose a testing center.

Along with the official materials, it can also help to practice exam-style questions from platforms like P2PExams to test your understanding and get familiar with the question format before the real exam.

Hey Alec,

quick question – did you end up taking the Jira Essentials exam already?

I’m currently preparing for it as well and was wondering: are there really as many questions about Scrum and Kanban in the exam as there are in the learning path?

Would really appreciate any insight from your experience 🙂
