Hi,Due to company guidelines, we can't start using BitBucket until data residency is in Europe.I wanted to kindly ask when this decision will be possible.

Unfortunately, Bitbucket Cloud does not yet support data residency (region pinning). Currently all Bitbucket Cloud data is hosted in the US (AWS us-east-1).
Atlassian originally planned to add data residency for Bitbucket Cloud but officially postponed it until 2026 (announced in August 2024). As of now, there's no confirmed release date.

You could use Bitbucket Datacenter in the meantime. Bitbucket DC is NOT affected by the DC end-of-life for other Atlassian products. Bitbucket DC is guaranteed to continue with a dual DC/Cloud license.
