CustomField n-feed dropdown missing when using drag and drop on Kanban Board

Question

I am using drag and drop feature to change the status of the card on Kanban board. For the status change, I have a transition screen to fill out required fields for the status to be changed. Here, I am using an elements connect field, and the n-feed drop down seems to be missing

The Rest API "rest/nfeed/3.0/nFeed/field/input/options" is not being called.

When i check in elements connect, the values for the field are properly rendered, here the rest api call is missing

How can i fix this?

Based on the apps documentation, there is nothing stated on using fields on a transition screen.

I think you can best reach out to the support channel of the app Elements connect.

Good morning, a possible solution would be to Disable the transition screen on the board (temporarily)

In Board settings → Columns → click on the status → check if there is a “screen” or transition configuration associated.

If the requirement to fill in the field can be done by a validator in the transition triggered outside the board, or by subsequent automation, you can:

Remove the transition screen from the drag & drop.

Force the filling of the field at another stage. It's not ideal, but it's a workaround if the field is blocking and the vendor doesn't have a fix yet.

Force the use of the transition button, not drag & drop

Inform the team that, while the problem exists, transitions requiring this Elements Connect field must be done via the button in the issue view, not through the board.

You can even:

Remove the column that triggers this transition from the board.

Or use automation to move it to the column after the transition via the button. If it doesn't solve the problem, bring more information about what occurred so we can help.
