I an experiencing an issue when trying to comment on a pull request in Bitbucket Cloud. Symptoms: * Error message: "Unable to create comment - Something went wrong. We were unable to create the comment." * The PR has approximately 200 activity items/comments * Other PRs in the same repository work fine What I have tried: * Hard refresh (Cmd+Shift+R) * Different browsers (tried incognito mode) * Verified I have write access to the repository * Confirmed the PR is still open and the branch exists * Other team members report the same issue on this specific PR Is there a known limit on PR activity/comments that might cause this? Should this be considered a bug?

We face the same issue: When 200 comments exists, the system does not accept more. I recommend 2 actions: * URGENT: the system should reply with a clear statement, that the comment limit is reached. Currently a reviewer is just seeing, something does not work, but there is no way to find out why. * fixing:* The limit should be raised. Complex code sometimes produces a lot of feedback, especially when issues are discussed. * comments should be deletable more easily. Currently threads are not deletable, but only comment by comment. Deleting less relevant threads would be a good way to erase a lot of comments.

Update I tried something else: * I deleted a comment and got the comment count down to 199. I was then able to add a new comment. * Once we hit 200 comments, I was unable to leave another comment. * Picture below of 200th comment and 201 comment

To troubleshoot this further - we'll need access to your workspace so that we can view the error code that's returned in the browser console when attempting to load the operation. To do so, our system needs a formal ticket raised with our support team.

I had tried raising ticket but I just get options for exploring community and documentation even after entering the workplace link.

I've ran into the same issue twice now. I had to create new PR's so I can start adding comments again.

We are facing the same problem. Actually this limitation is considered as "suggestion" and not a bug !

Hi,

We are facing the same problem. Here is information about the PR:

It has exactly 200 comments
No one can comment on this PR
We can comment on other PRs

What I have tried:

Hard refresh
Restarting browser
Different browsers
Computer restart
Incognito mode with same PR

Please fix this!

Update I tried something else:

I deleted a comment and got the comment count down to 199. I was then able to add a new comment.
Once we hit 200 comments, I was unable to leave another comment.

Can confirm, I am able to reproduce this issue!!

We have a lot of massive activity PRs and this is blocking us.
