An AI exaggerated image. I am not this messy.
This is where "messy" becomes a liability.
Extra credit: Use workflows to automatically manage permissions. Since Rovo only surfaces what a user is allowed to see, you can keep "WIP" pages hidden and automatically grant access the moment a document is finalized.

Great article @Jamie Esker _Appfire_, I've been thinking about AI "slop" a lot lately too. AI is great for doing some things faster, but if it's accelerating you in the wrong direction, you just end up further away from your goal. If Rovo is interrogating a Confluence site full of half-done, outdated content, the mess becomes actively harmful rather than just annoying. We're finding similar patterns for dev teams in Jira - copilots can dramatically reduce production, but if your backlog isn't in order and you aren't focused on building for your customers, where do you end up?Standardising workflows across diverse teams can be tricky in agile orgs where teams are free to build their own cadence, but you can hit critical points when documents and artifacts feed into automated systems. And it took me til January to go hard on the unsubscribe button, so good for you getting that done in December 😁
Tenille @ Easy Agile Yes, great point and thanks for adding that! I am waiting for Rovo to learn via labels, which would be incredibly helpful, but it would still require the proper governance for keeping things current. I'm looking forward to seeing what 2026 brings and how much more efficient teams across the board will become!
And admittedly, the unsubscribe is still a WIP, but now aiming for end of Jan. It's out of control!
