Help creating a dashboard

Question

I'm a Project Manager and one of the developers in my team has asked me to create some sort of dahsboard where they could see graphs and charts displaying the time they have logged into the time tracking tool in story and task cards.

I visited the Dashboard area on Jira and created one, but there are no charts or graphs for this situation. From all the 31 available, not a single one covers the time the developers have logged into the stories and tasks.

I'd like to know if there's any way I can do this.

I need to be able to provide them with a way to visualize all the time they have logged in the time tracking tool of each story and task in each sprint.

Welcome to the community, @Louise Chagas Loeser de Carvalho.

I am Marlene, product manager of Quick Filters for JIra Dashboards.

If you want to aggregate Jira number fields, like time tracking, this app can help. It offers several dashboard gadgets that can sum up number fields in different ways, such as:

Bar Chart

Line Chart

Numerical Statistics

…

You can try Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards on the demo dashboards without installing anything.

Hi @Louise Chagas Loeser de Carvalho

If you are open to try out an app for detailed time tracking reports, you can try out

Worklogs Time Tracking in Jira & Timesheets

With this add-on, you can easily add time tracking reports as a dashboard gadget. Main features of the app -

* Create time reports in real time by grouping & categorizing data with aggregation
* Prepare your reports based on Project/Sprint/Issue Type/Assignees and various other filters
* Group your data to build more meaningful reports
* CSV Export
* Dashboard gadget
* Enter Time Spent for multiple issues from Time sheet screen. With Calendar view and Board view

Hi there 👋

If you are open to exploring third-party solutions, I'd recommend No-Code Apps Creator for Jira by my team, an AI-powered app that lets you create your own dashboard or custom gadget by simply describing what you need in plain English.

For example, you can ask: “Create a dashboard that shows worklog time per issue in the current sprint, grouped by developer, with bar charts and totals.”

Then AI generates the dashboard for you, and you can refine it as needed — no coding, no complex configuration.

Let's join the No-Code community :)
