How can I add a custom MCP server to a Rovo agent created in Atlassian Rovo Studio UI (not via Forge

I have created a Rovo agent entirely using the Atlassian Rovo Studio’s web UI—without using Forge or any developer/CLI tools. I now want this agent to connect to and use my own self-hosted (custom) MCP server rather than the default Atlassian one.

• Is there a step-by-step guide or documented UI workflow on how to add and configure a third-party or custom MCP server to such an agent?

• What exact menu options or paths should I follow inside the UI?

• Has anyone successfully done this using only the Rovo Studio interface and not a developer environment? Any screenshots or walkthroughs would be appreciated.

My goal is to enable my agent (created via UI) to leverage tools/APIs available through my custom MCP server. Thanks!

I haven't tried this, but I don't think you'll be able to construct this with just UI/Rovo Studio.
Most likely, you'll have to set up Atlassian Rovo MCP Server and connect it with another MCP server.

That being said, I couldn't find any specific documentation or examples for what you're looking for.
Most advanced MCP server configs. (such as specifying a custom endpoint) is currently handled via CLI, config files, or within the settings of external tools.

Now, I'll move this to the Rovo forum group, so someone can potentially chime in.
