We use a status that is in norwegian and is named "Klar til test"

On a Jira board, all statuses for all issues are displayed in Norwegian except for one status/transition — “Ready to test.” See attachment. Why is that? 

I’ve checked the statuses and their translations, and they appear correctly there. I’ve also checked the workflows, and the transition is displayed correctly as well.

Where is “Ready to test” coming from?

“Ready to test” is the workflow transition label being shown on the board card (transition name or its i18n title), not the status name, so status translations don’t affect it. In other words, that action comes from the transition configured in the workflow for those issues, which is why it appears in English while your statuses show in Norwegian

The transition is literally named “Ready to test” or has a jira.i18n.title key that resolves to an English value, so the board displays that label instead of the status translation

 

Suggested Fix

• Rename the transition to the Norwegian label in the workflow and publish
• Or set jira.i18n.title on that transition and provide a Norwegian value in your language pack so it renders localized instead of English
• If inherited from a copied default/simplified workflow, open the transition Properties and remove/update the jira.i18n.title override that forces the English label
