Need to verify attachment name follows specific syntax

Have a Jira datacenter instance on a classified domain.  Need to have the attachments identify the security classification (U=unclassified, S=Secret) as the first part of the attachment name file.  If the attachment does not list the security classification first, Jira should prevent the file from being attached to an issue.

Examples of valid attachment name:

(U) screenshot of error message.doc

(S) Requirement from client.xls

Welcome. That is not a capability out of the box in the Jira UI. Here's the possible configuration that can be done:

You can primarily block by file extension.  You may want to look through the Atlassian marketplace for an app that could possibly extend the attachment restriction capability.
