Question

I received an email saying my account was deleted due to 180 days of inactivity?
I used it less than a week ago, and I have several commits in the last 30 days.
Then there is a support link and I find out that support is paid!
Joke???
It was already bad enough that they reduced the space to 1GB, now this!? Do I have to pay to fix a bug of theirs?

This notification pertains to your Atlassian organization rather than your Bitbucket Cloud workspace. Atlassian has started notifying customers about inactive organizations and has taken steps to delete them.

Conversely, Bitbucket Cloud is not connected to this initiative. I have verified that your Bitbucket Cloud workspace is still active. To verify this workspace, click on your avatar in the top-right corner, select *All Workspaces* from the dropdown menu, and locate the workspace in the list.

Meanwhile, I went ahead and raised a support request on your behalf with our Cloud team to help you further. You should receive an email notification about it.

Yes, I also think it's strange for a repository that I commit to about 2 times a week.

That's exactly the problem, to call support I have to pay.

And I think it's absurd to pay to solve their problem.

It probably won't be deleted, in any case I'm going to rush to migrate and leave Bitbucket, I've already written a python script to migrate ALL repositories > 100

Atlassian has started with this clean up process recently, which is both for users and sites that weren't been used for 180 days. It is strange however from your side. This needs to be checked with Atlassian support.
