Xray - Unable to see the name/summary of the test execution when adding test execution evidence

When a test has been written in the Cucumber format, and there are multiple scenarios being tested:

We will need to run Test Executions for multiple scenarios.

We are able to name each test exection when they are created:

But when the test exection is executed/opened, there is no way to identify on the page which Test execution we are in:

It would be beneficial for the user to see the name/summary of the Test Execution when we are uploading evidence. 

This would help the user not upload evidence into the wrong test scenario by mistake and help outside parties understand which scenario the evidence relates to.

Similarly to when a Test is created within a Test-Set, we create and name the Test, and when the test is opened, we see the title of the Test at the top.

Thanks for raising this, it’s a very insightful observation.

Currently, when executing Cucumber-based tests where each scenario becomes a separate Test Run, Xray doesn’t display the Test Execution issue name or summary on the Test Run screen. This can indeed make it harder to ensure that the correct evidence is uploaded, especially when multiple executions or scenarios are involved.

Although this is not yet supported in the UI, we recognize the value it would bring. Having the Test Execution context visible would improve traceability, reduce user errors, and make it easier for both testers and stakeholders to understand which scenario a given piece of evidence relates to.
