Can we synchronize projects that exist in an OnDemand instance and our hosted instance?

We have an internal JIRA hosted instance for all internal work, but have begin using OnDemand instances for work involving direct client input and with thrid party vendors.  Is there a way we can synchronize a project on the OnDemand isntance with one on our internal JIRA, to allow for easier response to reported issues?

I don't know of a complete solution and it depends on what you mean by "synchronize". I can only suggest a tool that may help you try to automate this kind of thing - JIRA Command Line Interface (CLI) and Run CLI Actions in JIRA.
