Trying to create subtasks where the parent task is a service request using automation for jira, it works when i create a new task but doesn't work when i set the create new issue as a sub tasks, so rule validation is all green but it gives me the following error when i execute it

"Unable to create issue

Issue type is a sub-task but parent issue key or id not specified. (issuetype)"

It looks like your automation rule is missing a reference to the parent issue when creating the subtask. In Jira, a subtask must always be linked to a parent issue, and the error suggests that this reference isn't being set correctly.

Make sure the "Parent Issue" field is set to "Trigger Issue" (or use {{triggerIssue.key}} in the field if needed).

As your rule has a scheduled trigger, switch value of field "Parent" to "Current Issue" for all Sub-Tasks. As you first create a Service Request, the following Sub-Tasks should be added below that issue.
