Email id changed for admin, domain no longer valid

Question

Hi Team, We were using bitBucket as a code repo as well as for pipelines. our admin now is changed to . We no longer have access to domain. When I try to login using it sends the verification code to which we no longer have access to. Can someone switch the admin user from to ? This is super urgent as we are stuck .. Thanks

Unfortunately, we cannot alter email addresses due to security and ownership verification protocols. However, there are a few options you might consider.

First, if possible, try to regain access to the old email address, as this would be the most straightforward way to log in and update your account information.

If there's another admin in your Bitbucket workspace, you can ask them to invite your new email as an admin. This will grant your new account the necessary permissions to manage the workspace.

Alternatively, if you still have read/write access to your repositories, you can create a new workspace where you would be the admin and move your repositories to it. To do this, you would need to clone your repositories to your local machine, set up a new workspace where your new account is the admin, and push your repositories to this new workspace.

Welcome to the community. Let me try and help with this question. Before you would remove a domain or stop having domain access it is wise to add the new domain and users so you don't loose access to the site. You would need an org admin added with the new domain so when the old domain is shut off you would be able to access the current bitbucket site.

The other thing is if anyone else has access with a different domain but still remained connected as admin they would be able to add the domain users.

I would put in a support ticket with Atlassian to help navigate this.
