Hello experts, In our Jira setup, we are unable to see Issue type hierarchy. Can someone help us to understand how to resolve this issue ?

Hi @Bharath Arumugam - Welcome to the community. Just to confirm is the "Issue types hierarchy" greyed out? Do you have the admin rights?

Note- "Jira Premium and Enterprise customers can also create and manage additional levels in their issue type hierarchy."

Do you have a Premium or Enterprise subscription? Are you using Data Center or Cloud?
Where did you get the first screenshot?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.
The tags on your post indicate you are using Jira Data Center. And you stated that the images you posted are "how it should look" compared to how it does look.
The top image in your screen shot appears to be from a Jira Cloud environment. I'm assuming that is the image you are using for "how it should look". And the lower image appears to be from a Jira Data Center environment. I'm assuming that is from your actual environment.
Jira Cloud and Jira Data Center present different UIs. Jira Data Center will not necessarily look like Jira Cloud. Expectations that the UIs will look the same are not valid expectations.
Why do you think they should look the same?
Where did you get the first image? If you got it from a document or video, was that referring to Jira Cloud rather than to Jira Data Center?

yes, it is from Jira help. Will Data center Jira not support hierarchy in issue types ?
yes, I have admin rights. I do not see Issue types hierarchy greyed out. It is just missing. My version of Jira is
