How to add due date in the description

Question

I have 2 automations:

First one: If the summary contains ABC, add due date: today plus 50 days. This is working fine.

Second one: This is the one where i am having trouble. Now I want that due date to come up in the description. How do I do that?

Exactly, Due date is filling after creation of ticket, I hope there should also some automation there. So I would suggest to capture the due date value from summary into description that will work.

In your current automation,capturing the value from Due date at the same time of ticket creation won't work.

@Mahesh Shinde , while creating the issue, due date field is empty. But the summary contains ABC so automatically after the ticket gets created then it adds the due date. And that due date does not come up in the Description.

This is the correct configuration, can you check the audit logs for this automation and share with us?

just to clarify, are you filling any value in the Due date field while creating issue?

{{issue.dueDate}} this smart function take the value from Due date field while creating issue.
