How to link multiple issues together in Jira Product Discovery

Question

In our use case, we would like to link more than 1 issue to the given JPD issue but the system does not let us select them altogether.

So I need to Select the linking relation and add one issue at a time. Is there a way to change this behavior  to similar to what we have on Jira?

Hi @Smita ,

I don't believe this is possible within any Jira product, and each needs to be added one-by-one. I also don't believe it's possible to do in bulk either.

Closest thing I can think of is using the External System Import to update an idea, which can add multiple links, along with update the idea's fields as long as you map to the existing JPD idea through the issue key.

Take a look at this Community Article I published on how to format the CSV, but it might look something like this:

Issue key,Linked issues,Linked issues,Linked issues,Summary
JPDPROJ-000,KEY-111,KEY-222,KEY-333,Enter new JPD summary here to update / add your existing idea's summary / or map the summary through the import manually.

* JPDPROJ-000 = the JPD idea's issue key
* KEY-111,KEY-222,KEY-333 = the Jira issues' keys
