I'm trying to find greenhopper 7.1.20 supported browser list - any ideas where may it be?
Green hopper Supported browsers
JIRA Platform
Greenhopper doesn't have a version 7. Or 6 or 5 for that matter.
For a while (JIRA 4 to JIRA 6) it was the Agile add-on.
From JIRA 7, it is now JIRA Software, an application, not an add-on.Finally, it's never really needed a "supported version". As an add-on, and now an application, its compatibility is determined by the platform (JIRA) it is running on.
Not exactly,
Green Hopper has been released as version 7. for JIRA Software but the versions don't match.

JIRA Software is only a bundle of JIRA Core + Greenhopper 7.
So looking at the version 6 releases browser support couldn't be determined by the platform version. You can see that there are 3 greenhopper versions released for JIRA 7.
That's in the public repo.
Here You can find all the versions https://www.versioneye.com/java/com.atlassian.jira.plugins:jira-greenhopper-plugin/7.1.22

I'm afraid you have misunderstood. Greenhopper became Agile and then Software. It's retained the greenhopper name in a lot of places, but the product is not greenhopper any more.
Let's put it this way - if you replaced the word "greenhopper" with "mrflibble", what would change? Nothing. The name is now JIRA Software. The classes and code might have other names, but the product doesn't care. "Greenhopper" is irrelevant to most users, it only makes sense to those of us with a long history.
The answer to the question remains completely the same too. The JIRA Software version is irrelevant. The platform it runs on is what matters. JIRA version X works with <something version Y>. If you can add the JIRA Software application to the platform, then you know it is supported on <something version Y>
In my pom I define a dependency to greenhopper so it is still relevant to me.
<artifactId>jira-greenhopper-parent-pom</artifactId>
https://maven.atlassian.com/content/groups/public/com/atlassian/jira/jira-software-application-parent/7.1.2/jira-software-application-parent-7.1.2.pom
But that was not my question.
According to Atlassian documentation (links in the table above) Green Hopper 6.4.x supports IE 8, 9,10 but can be run on JIRA 6.2.x which supports IE 11 as well, and that is not supported by Greenhopper 6.4.x.
The same with green hopper 6.1.x - IE 8,9 which can be run on JIRA 6.0 which is IE 10 compatible.
So is this a mistake in the documentation?
