Can I convert the Jira comment thread into a confluence page?

Throughout our project development, we often engage in extensive discussions within the comments section of Jira stories. These comment threads contain valuable insights and decisions. I seek advice on tools or automated solutions to efficiently convert these Jira comment threads into Confluence pages for better documentation and accessibility. Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

There's a lengthy KB article about doing something like this, I suspect you can adapt it to your needs.

The upshot is to use Jira automation to create a Confluence page. I would trigger it on a transition that goes "nowhere" (e.g. a "create Confluence page" transition that goes from "Done" to "Done").
