Why can’t Atlassian put a release burn down widget or version report as a standard gadget on dashboards?
Hi @Manchenahalli, Raghunandan -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I do not have an answer for you, although there are several open suggestions to add such gadgets for the dashboard:

Hi @Manchenahalli, Raghunandan,
This is an answer that I believe only Atlassian can answer...
But there are plugins available on Atlassian Marketplace which provides such a gadget.
If you consider the idea of using a plugin, our Great Gadgets app offers a Release Burndown Burnup Chart gadget that could be a great solution for you. It is very capable and highly configurable.
