Is it possible to use Work Log in JIRA Discovery

Hello,

In JIRA Work Management, I use Time Tracking to add work logs to issues to track time spent against each issue.

Is it possible to configure the same in a JIRA Discovery project? I've had a look through the role permissions, and the project settings, but there is no 'Log Work' button, and no 'Time Tracking' field, and I can find no project level 'Enable Time Tracking' toggle. So, I conclude that this might be a Work Management feature, and something that's not available in Discovery. Can anyone confirm?

Jira Product Discovery is designed primarily for product managers and teams to capture and prioritize ideas. As of the current features, Jira Product Discovery does not natively support time tracking or work log functionality like Jira Software or Jira Service Management.

As a workaround, you can create custom fields to manually track time or effort, although this won't provide the full functionality of work logs.

Hi @Samuel Gatica _ServiceRocket_ , I habe been able to work log on Jira Product Discovery projects by pressing "W" when watching the issue. This can also be done from the Tempo "My Work" tab for example, spcifying the issue manually - see proof attached.

I don't want anybody creating work logs in this type of projects but I don't find a way since these project don't use premission schemes as far as I know, could you give me an alternative please?

Above solution doesn't work for me. "W" simply adds me to watchers.
