How to create Checkbox and receive `Like` button event on Comment?

I would like to add a checkbox in my comment on a Pull Request to enhance understanding and encourage responses from users. However, I cannot find a way to include a checkbox in the comment. Could anyone please suggest how to do this?

Additionally, I want to capture the "Likes" on the comment. Is there a way to receive an event via a webhook or similar whenever a user clicks the "Like" button on a comment?

Hi Aashish,

It is not possible to add a checkbox inside a comment, but you can add one in the form of a task. After you add a comment, you will see a link Create task like in the screenshot below:

 

 

 

You can use it to create a task and a checkbox will be added next to the task. Please keep in mind that once a user clicks that checkbox the view will be updated for all users and so the checkbox will shows as checked to all users.

I'm afraid that there is no webhook event for likes on PR comments. We have a feature request in our issue tracker:

The feature request was closed as a result of inactivity (no votes or comments for an extended period of time) but you can still leave a comment to express your interest as our product managers continue to monitor even closed requests.
