Jira cluster

We are running Jira datacenter with single node with Xray and Xporter installed. We are in the progress to upgrade to cluster with 4 nodes. 

what need to be done for Xray and Xporter? Does it need to be installed on the new nodes? how about license for Xray and Xporter?

Hi Steve,

If it is data center license the no problem about licensing.

For app installation, we need to place plugins folder itself in the shared home, so it will be accessed from there. For a safer side ensure Xray folder from local home also placed in the share home.

 

I am not sure how you are going to migrate, What I did is deployed an empty installation on other 3 nodes and removed all contents. After that I placed the copy of original server contents(both installation and local home) and adjusted the configs of Installation drive requirements. So it copied all the data from the original one. It will take some more time if it is a larger environment.
