Hide field in sub-task depending on value in field in parent task

Hi!

How I can hide field (Link to video) in sub-task depending on value in field in parent task?

For example, parent task has custom field with choice of 5 options. When certain option is selected, you need to hide Link to video field at stage of creating sub-task. When other options are selected, this field should be there.

I have to add script to validator at Create?

@Margo Verameyenka do you have Scriptrunner or similar apps installed on the instance? You can't really do this kind of behaviour out the box in Jira as far as I'm aware. 

Depending on your use case, it's probably worth flagging that getting too much detail into sub-task tends to lend to teams getting lost in the weeds - Jira inherently focusses on the standard level items being the 'hero' and where things like Sprint Planning should be looking at, sub-tasks are just meant to be glorified checklist items without lots of detail in them.
