Jira Automation to Transition Issue Once Multiple People Comment

s t_sp3kbc

Hello,

I am looking for a way to set up an automation that will transition an issue to "In Progress". The trigger needs to be a defined 5 people have commented "Approved" on the issue.

I can successfully do this with 1 person commenting "Approved" but haven't found a way with multiple people.

Any way to do this?

Thanks,

Hello ST,

I wonder why do you want to transition the issue when users have enter "approved"? You probably can use a field something like "approver" and set that on the WF transition. If the approval has happened and from all the 5 people the transition will automatically happen to in progress.

Will this solve the problem? Are you specifically looking to use comments only?

Thanks,
