we need to host a large number of project. these projects won't be able to have their workflow updated in same time. some end of life project won't migrate at all in a new workflow.
workflow evolution could be : attribute update, screen update, script update, attribute update (type modification, new attribute, attribute removal, etc.)
it seems there is a workflow versionning that existe and it could deal with transition update but nothing for attribute. if an attribute need to be modified, we need to add a new attribute with same name and a different type.
but then it would be a problem because user will see two attribute with the same name (painfull to create filter, search and add column...).
after 10 years of evolution we will have 5 attributes "toto", 6 attribute "titi", 4 attributes "tutu", it will be horrible.
if we rename attribute when modified it is also not a good solution because user won't be able to choose between toto1, toto2, toto3 attribute...
we would be the solution to have a real management of different workflow ?
