Sure! Follow the steps:

* Identify the Workflow:* Go to your Jira project's settings > 'Workflows'.
* Find the workflow associated with the issue type where you want to enforce closing sub-tasks first
* If you see the new editor, switch to the old editor.

* Locate the Transition:* In diagram mode, click on the line pointing to the Done status and click Conditions in the properties panel

* Add a Condition:* Add a new condition of the type "Sub-Task Blocking Condition".
* Select all the sub-task statuses required to allow parent issue transition

* Save and Publish:* Save your changes to the validator.
* Publish the updated workflow.

You can also check out the video where I follow similar steps, but I am adding a different validator. The steps at the beginning are very similar.
