commit trigger does run when commit is done

Hi there,

We have Github/Jira integration in our company and I have created Commit trigger but don't see any run for it. Commit message appears in my Jira issue as expected, however, trigger log doesn't show any run. Why trigger doesn't see commit event? What I am missing here?

 

P.S. This issue was resolved. The webhook was configured that allowed Jira to see the required github repository. After it, all commits from github started appearing under Git Commits on the issue level.

Probably is due to commit message.

Did you add jira issue key in your commits? 

 

If we consider that your issue key is CV-2 the structure is:

• git commit -m "<issue-key><message>"

so it'll look like:

• git commit -m "CV-2 code changes"
