How to make Automation Rule to reject stalled ticket after 24 hours from it's creation?

Hello Team,

 

I'm trying to make an Automation Rule to Reject a ticket automatically when it's in status "Stalled" and it's pending time between creation date and now is 24 hours or more.

I tried this rule however, the automation is running but it is not being transitioned. 

 

Any Help Please?

Hi and welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The way this rule is now set up: When this issue is transitioned to stalled you are checking whether it is in status Stalled and if it wasn't updated in 24h. So the action is never executed (since the transition is an update of the issue).

What you might do to accomplish this:

• Make a scheduled automation rule which runs every morning (for example)
• The rule should select all issues in status Stalled and then check the update date as you are doing already
• All selected issues then should transition (the action you have already)
