A little bit of history:

This group was initially launched as a closed beta for our community leaders and trusted members to test early features of Atlassian Intelligence. On December 11th 2023, we announced the availability of Atlassian Intelligence features to the public. At that time, we opened up this group to everyone in our wonderful community!

Since then, we’ve been working hard to bring Atlassian Intelligence features to the products you use every day! There are still many opportunities for members of this group to learn, give feedback, and interact with product managers as we continue to ideate, build, and launch new capabilities.

For members who have been in the group since day one, thank you! We are looking forward to continue to work with you. For those that are just joining, welcome. You’re in the right place!

If you have a specific support-related question, “how do I…” or “where can I…” we encourage you to ask your question in the appropriate support & discussion board for the product you’re working with. You will get a faster answer asking technical questions in those areas of the community because that’s where our support engineers hang out. If we see technical questions in this group, we may move your post to the appropriate area to facilitate getting the help you need. We’ll always tag your name and let you know if we have moved a post.

Only interested if this is going to be available in Data Center. The DC roadmap does not mention it, unfortunately

@Martin E Atlassian Intelligence won't be available in DC via Atlassian, but Ido know there are partners in the ecosystem that are developing a DC version that can be used. We have to see when/if they want to release that functionality.

Is there any high-level documentation around Atlassian Intelligence that explains the data boundaries? I.e. How is Atlassian managing the data going into and out of the Atlassian Intelligence LLM? We are trying to decide whether these features can be enabled for our users but need more information on how our account data is protected.

Hello, I am a fan of using Python Jira a Python library to work with Jira APIs. Although it took some guesswork to get authentication working with a .netrc file. That is mentioned in the docs, but without what the format is, or any example. The docs are here: https://jira.readthedocs.io/index.html

The format of the .netrc file:
NOTEs: We are using cloud version of Jira. Put the .netrc file in your home directory, use your email, use your Jira API token and do not use the <> below around anything below

With that off my mind, I am curious if there will be API access to Atlassian Intelligence?

i think there is a good but still very basic usage of AI in Jira and Confluence.

Are there plans to have more developed features, that could really assist in task like

- cleaning a big backlog : identifying long standing tasks that have not been much detailed and that are standing there for a long time comparing to others

- idem it could be to clean article that have not been touch for a long time and could be potentially obsolete.

- propose to optimize the organisation of confluence articles or jira tasks, group article alike add link between tickets that seems related

- we may even think of assistance like propose good pactise to better estimate task / even propose task estimation , or help reducing the turnaround time.

- recap tasks that may have been pending in QA and where one is a requester ...

etc. the list can be long and in brief i would expect a real assistant that does more than a bit of copyrighting.
