Why is JWM filtered Through Jira Software?

Hi. My product team uses Jira Software. I am trying to create a JWM account for my marketing team to work in. I think I created that account however, when I select JWM in my product list, it goes to Jira Software with a filter for JWM projects. This doesn't seem right to me. What am I missing?

In addition, when I go to the Atlassian Administration page, it shows JWM having 0 users. Why is that? When I select the action, "Manage Product", and from there select "Licensed Users" I see 4 users under the WM filter.

Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Marcus - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Jira Work Management currently comes automatically when you get Jira Software or Jira Service Management. There should be no need to do anything else.

Simply click on the Projects menu option in the top nav bar and then click Create Project.

Then click Work Management on the left to see available templates for JWM projects.

Select a template by simply clicking on it. I would suggest that you then click the Show more link and change the Project Type to Company-managed.

Hello, Good day. Looks like you already have Jira software, in this case you can start using JWM without having to add the JWM product separately.
