How to store my code, written in VSCode on a remote repository in bitbucket

How do I add this repository as a remote in VSCode? 

 

I have written code in VSCode, and I would like to use the VSCode git tools upload this code to a repository in Bitbucket. 

 

I keep getting authentication failures when I try to add the bitbucket repository as a remote repository to the code.

How can I add my bitbucket repository as a remote to my VSCode git repository?
