Hi,Is it possible to customize the log work window? For example, can an optional field such as support effort or developer effort be made? or how can I categorize the efforts I spend?

Hi you will need to make a transition screen and include the log work field; then on that screen you can set defaults or add custom fields. Then in the workflow use that as a transition screen.
I would recommend writing code to alter the default time tracking layout since it is a global field--and of course in the market place there are apps that will help customize it beyond this basic solution.
