Octopilot automate your Gitops workflow

Hello community, I just started using Bitbucket pipeline. I was initially using Github Action.

I need to Automate GitOps workflow, by automatically creating/merging Bitbucket pipeline PRs.

While using GitHub Action I was working with

I do have a question, working with Bitbucket pipeline, does Bitbucket pipeline have any docker image for Bitbucket pipeline to Automate Gitops workflow, by automatically creating/merging Bitbucket pipeline PRs

Hi @chekju,

The Docker image you specify in your bitbucket-pipelines.yml file will be used to start a container where a certain build step runs, it won't do anything more. The repo will be cloned in this container, and then the commands of the step (from the bitbucket-pipelines.yml file) will be executed.

I had a look at the links you shared and I understand that Octopilot is a CLI tool to automate creating and merging PRs in GitHub. Atlassian doesn't have any such tool available. If there is one available from a third party, you may be able to use it during a Pipelines build.

Otherwise, you will need to write a script that does what you want and you can make use of our APIs for pull requests (you can check the different endpoints from the left sidebar, we have endpoints for creating and merging PRs):
