If your team doesn't use Confluence, what's the best way to create and track content revisions within Jira issues?

@Brittany Melville In the Atlassian universe, your best bet would have been 'Confluence'.
In your case, since Confluence is not an option, you may look at MS Excel for basic tracking.
Additionally, I wonder what would be the objective behind tracking content revisions?
