How to include "add a caption" feature in already existing template ?

It seems that if I write a page using “template A” when I insert an image, I am asked for its caption.  But when I write a a page using a "template B" and insert an image, I am not given the same support?, I can just add a title to display when hovered over the image. I do not have the same support of adding a caption to image.

How to include this new feature, to enable adding captions, in our existing "template A" ?

The toolbar for template A and template B are very different, is it due to certain upgrades that was done in confluence after one of the templates were created. Can this be the possible cause ?

@abhishek.s-j you are on the right track. Your examples of Template A and Template B are really the Legacy Editor and New Editor. Pages initially created with the Legacy Editor, which was replaced by the New Editor in 2020, still have the Legacy Editor experience when editing. 

You can convert your Legacy Editor pages to New Editor pages, which will update the way the content is displayed. There is an article on the Community that goes through this process which you can view here:

The experience you are looking for - the ability to caption images - only exists in the new editor, and is why you are not being prompted to insert a caption on the current page you are trying to edit.
